Tennessee in Layers

“Tennessee in Layers” is a colorful, contemporary interpretation of the rolling hills of Tennessee. Layer upon layer of expressive brushstrokes and playful patterns create the rhythm of the landscape, capturing the lush greens, golden fields, and unexpected bursts of color found across the Tennessee countryside. The piece is less about depicting a specific place and more about capturing the energy, movement, and beauty of the hills through color and abstraction. This is a 12x12 1/2 inch thick canvas using acrylic and collaged papers.
